I'm surprised she still says For the honor of Greyskull! They may be maintaining some connection with Masters of the Universe after all. Still think the art style is a little overly bland this time around. The original shows were campy as hell. Today they get criticized for sexualizing teens and portraying unrealistic body images and all sorts of stuff. But the art style was typical of the 80's. A decade where pretty much everything imaginable had to be exaggerated and over the top. Women walked around with whoulderpads that made them wider then they were tall. Socks turned into massive Leg warmers, Hair Bands became a thing. Movies and television shows became so exaggerated as to be ridiculous. It was style of the times. At least people took risks back then.I realize I'm not the target audience for this show because I'm old enough to have watched the original He-Man and She-Ra shows when they aired. Funny thing is though, as a little kid I watched those shows and never thought that I needed to look like a hulking monster to be a man, or that I had to marry a girl with big breasts and ruby red lips either. I guess even as a kid I could tell the difference between fantasy and reality.I get that this show is designed to sell Netflix subscriptions to parents and grandparents who watched the original shows more then selling toys, but I still think it looks a little bland
The setup for this monitor was very easy. All we had to do was plug the camera in and turn on the receiver. The night vision quality is excellent. We have the camera about 6 feet above the crib as is recommended for the night vision. The picture is so good I can see my baby breathing if I watch closely. The microphone picks up even soft noises that my baby makes so that I don't have to have the volume up very high on the receiver. This has made the transition from moving her from a bassinet in my room to her crib easier. When I hear her make noises I check to see if she is making noises in her sleep or if she is actually awake before I get up. And when I wake up in the middle of the night I can see she is ok without getting up every hour to go check on her.

But that’s not all. We accidentally sent back the battery for the monitor which we were instructed not to do (The monitor still works without a battery if plugged in). So we wrote again explaining our mistake. Infant Optics immediately got back to us again and sent out another battery for the monitor. 2 days later we had a new battery for our new monitor.

Rechargeable batteries: Since the camera will most likely stay trained on your bundle of joy, it can remain plugged into AC power. But parent unit displays are designed to be always on and carried with you as you move from room to room. That can drain batteries quickly. Look for a parent unit that runs on rechargeable batteries, so you’re not constantly swapping them out.
The iBaby M6 is your ultimate nursery assistant! This adorably sleek model wins our top pick for the best baby monitor with wi-fi. Not only can you keep tabs on baby through your iPhone or tablet, the iBaby monitor also allows you to live-stream footage to as many as four people (Hello, Grandma!), take, store and share photos of baby, and speak or sing to baby via two-way communication. Parents can remotely control the camera so that it swivels, tilts and pans for a larger viewing area. Baby’s first robot? We think so!
Okay, this is my fifth video monitor. Sixth, actually, because I replaced a Motorola one. I started with the Wi-Fi baby monitor, which my friends have liked. When I set it up it was easy but the camera wasn't very good. Also I needed a phone or some kind of device to check on the baby which didn't make any sense to me once I got it out of the box, because you want to monitor going all the time. So I returned that and I did a lot of research and ended up with the Motorola. The Motorola had a very good camera but it said pan and scan on the box and it was just a manual pan and scan. It had a temperature reading which I liked, and lullabies which is stupid. The reason the Motorola ultimately failed is the battery life And more

The more old fashioned video monitors are better if your internet isn't reliable because they use a dedicated video monitor instead. You can also choose to pair high-tech Wi-Fi security cameras with cheaper audio-only baby monitors to have the best of both worlds. We've tested a few baby monitors and researched the rest to find the best ones you can buy no matter your preference.

This baby monitor is pretty impressive. The camera can see around the room great and very clear, even when you zoom its clear. The two way talking is a great feature. Night vision is super clear as well, even while zooming. The monitor has a room temperature feature and will alert you if its getting too hot or too cold. I added some sweet lullabies that play when its naptime which is awesome and convenient haha! Loving this thing so far. Hope it lasts forever lol.

In terms of battery life for the monitor, we had no issues once we figured out our schedule. We used it pretty much throughout the day unplugged and kept it plugged in overnight night by our bed, pretty much like our phones. Occasionally we ran out of battery but not frequently enough where we thought there was something wrong. It was all we could ask for.

This product was delivered in a small case, which contains a camera and a monitor, and they are paired beforehand. Actually I already had another baby monitor, so I could tell some difference between them. This camera inside is better since it could be adjusted by 360 degree horizontally and vertically, which makes the installation very easy, so I only need to put it on the edge of the crib to monitor the baby face, and my previous one can only capture the baby face in certain position. Another better part is that the monitor has high resolution, and I could see the baby very clearly even in the nighttime. This product also comes with some bonus feature, such as I can play music to baby through the remote monitor, which is great! I am really glad to have this product.
So, we split our remaining finalists into three groups: WiFi Monitors for those who want to have an unlimited range or the ability to check in on their baby from anywhere, Movement Monitors for those who are comforted by hearing their baby’s vital signs, and a “standard” category for parents who want a quality monitor, but aren’t looking for that extra level of support.
The Video Baby Monitor 6000 is BT’s most expensive video baby monitor, and replaces the brand’s Video Monitor 7500 Lightshow model. Although it features an increased screen size of 5 inches (up from 3.5 inches), it no longer boasts a light show and 19-strong selection of lullabies along with nature sounds, womb sounds and white noise. In this respect it isn’t much different from the cheaper models, the 3000 and the 5000, apart from the larger display.

Some baby cams can work at night with low light levels. Most video baby monitors today have a night vision feature. Infrared LEDs attached on the front of the camera allow a user to see the baby in a dark room. Video baby monitors that have night vision mode will switch to this mode automatically in the dark. Some advanced baby cams now work over Wi-Fi so parents can watch babies through their smartphone or computer.
Great battery replacement for the one that came with our unit - we finally can unplug AND use it for more than 2 minutes. The battery fits and works perfectly with the unit, and the only reason that I did not give a 5 star is that I just wish that it charge would last longer - about 45 min to 1 hour and a half depending on use (screen on or off). But for the price, there isn't much we could complain. Shipped and arrived fast. Would recommend and buy again.
It really depends on what you feel most comfortable with. There are audio monitors that allow you to listen to any noise coming from the nursery, vital monitors that track sleep and breathing and video monitors that add sight to sound. Babylist parents overwhelmingly choose video monitors. The security of seeing what your child is up to—like if they’ve gotten tangled in their swaddle, pulled their diaper off or climbed out of the crib—can be worth the extra cost of a video monitor.
